The romantic Scots Hussars

Since the Jacobite rebellion of 1745, there has been no regular serving Scottish Hussars, however there was a small troop known as Baggot’s or Scotch Hussars, who fought in the service of Bonnie Prince Charlie. The campaign ended in defeat for the Jacobite cause at the Battle of Culloden in the spring of 1746.

What if?

In Scotland there has always been much romance regarding the clan rising of 1745. What if the Jacobite cause had prevailed and this particular cavalry unit had continued in service to the present day? This is my interpretation of the regiment's contemporary name, and how the ceremonial uniform would look.
